What is Freeze-Dried?
Our beef is frozen at peak freshness, and the moisture is removed through sublimation, a process that transforms water directly into vapor. This method locks in the nutritional value and gives the food a shelf life of up to 10 years!

How to Store and Use (excluding liver treats):

  • Rehydrate with equal or more warm water to the freeze-dried food before feeding
  • Best if used within 45 days of opening
  • Do not refrigerate
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight

To convert freeze-dried to raw feeding, feed about 1/3 to 1/4 of the freeze-dried quantity compared to raw before adding water. For a 50lb dog on a 3% raw diet, this equals roughly 1.5lbs of raw food or up to 8oz of freeze-dried without water daily.

Freeze-dried liver is a fantastic treat for training or daily snacking and doesn’t require rehydration when used as a treat.

The blend that started it all -- our 100% Raw Beef Dog food has been a tried and true staple in many dog's food bowls for the past 28 years. We take the finest cuts of fresh beef, grind them to perfection and immediately freeze, ensuring premium quality and freshness. Packed with protein, we add a subtle sprinkling of charcoal within the beef as a natural mineral with many digestive benefits for dogs. Many veterinarians prescribe charcoal pills to dogs with digestive system issues. 

Our Raw Beef blend comprises of 93% raw beef, 7% fat & a subtle sprinkle of charcoal.

Raw Beef + Ground Bone

Elevate your dog's dish with our special blend of raw beef, and ground bone. This special blend of raw beef includes ground bone for added calcium, phosphorus, and essential trace minerals needed to support strong bones, healthy teeth, and overall health. We sprinkle a delicate amount of charcoal, an ingredient that has received positive praise from veterinarians, as a natural remedy for supporting digestion in dogs.

Our Raw Beef + Ground Bone blend comprises of 85% beef, 15% ground bone & a subtle sprinkle of charcoal.

Legacy BLT (Beef, Liver, Tripe)

Discover the next level of canine nutrition with our pup-favorite, Legacy BLT mix. It takes our premium Raw Beef product, and adds in a blend of liver, unwashed tripe (stomach-lining), and heart, making for a nutritionally packed meal for your dog.

Our Legacy BLT blend comprises of 70-80% beef, 10-15% liver, 10% unwashed fatty tripe, and 1-3% heart.

Legacy BLT (Beef, Liver & Tripe) + Ground Bone

Our Legacy BLT + Ground Bone blend brings together all of our premium ingredients to supports the needs of dogs of all breed and sizes. Our combination of ingredients gives your dog a boost of protein, while naturally adding in amazing vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and nutrients needed to support a healthy life.

Our Legacy BLT + Ground Bone blend comprises of 78-80% beef, 3% liver, 10% unwashed fatty tripe, 1-3% heart & 6% ground bone.

What else you need to know?

Packaging & Serving

Raw orders are shipped frozen in a 1.5-inch thick insulated cooler. When your order arrives, freeze any items you won’t be using right away.

If some products arrive partially thawed, don’t worry – it’s safe to thaw and refreeze pet food. When it’s time to feed, simply take the package out of the freezer 24 hours in advance, thaw, and serve!

Freeze-dried items ship separately and are shelf-stable. Store them in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. When feeding, mix the freeze-dried food with 2-3 times the amount of warm water, then fold or reseal the bag.

Shipping Schedule

MLB will ship your fresh, frozen dog food on Mondays via the UPS or Fedex. Freeze dry orders will ship separate and within 2 business days of purchase.

Raw orders must be placed before 10am (CST) on Monday to be shipped that Monday. Freeze dry orders will ship Monday-Friday

Any raw orders received after 10am (CST) on a Monday will ship the following Monday.

We take the guess work out of shipping for you by offering auto-delivery subscriptions. Just sign up once, and we'll deliver your order on the schedule you choose.

Holiday Shipping

If a holiday lands any time during the week, we will still plan shipping that week. Shipments may either leave on Tuesday as a result of the holiday being Monday, or take an extra day to arrive if shipped on a Monday and the holiday is midweek (July 4th).

Holidays include: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day
