About this product
The Venustus cichlid, also known as the Giraffe cichlid, is a striking fish from Lake Malawi, characterized by its unique coloration and predatory behavior. Males develop vibrant blue heads and yellow bodies with dark blotches, while females are more subdued with a silver base and similar blotches. They are known for their ambush predator hunting style and can grow up to 10 inches, requiring a large aquarium with plenty of space and hiding places.
